Veterans Administration Baltimore Hospital Design & Installation

Envirens provided design and planting services for a therapeutic courtyard garden at Baltimore’s downtown veterans hospital.  Design features used color and fragrance in the selection of focal point flowering trees and perimeter perennial gardens to encourage veterans to get outside.  The therapeutic benefits of interaction with and observation of nature are well documented.  The courtyard had been constructed 10 years prior to the garden design and was not utilized by the veterans until plantings were installed.
